Student Dress Code

We believe that students are successful when they feel comfortable and empowered. The following are dress code expectations:

  • Apparel that advertises alcohol, smoking, drugs, harmful substances/items, or inappropriate language may not be worn to school
  • Apparel that disrupts the education of students may not be worn to school
  • Straps on tank tops and dresses should be at least 2” wide
  • No bare midriffs or visible undergarments
  • Shorts & skirts need to be past fingertip length when arms are at sides
  • Hats, caps, bandanas, and hoods are not to be worn indoors (unless as a reward from the classroom teacher/administration)

Students may be sent home to change if their dress is not in accordance with these expectations. We ask parents, adults, volunteers, and visitors to be good role models for students and honor our above guidelines when on school grounds.
